Pulaski County Winter Guard Wins Medals at TriState

On Saturday, March 22, 2014, the Northern Middle School Jr. Winter Guard, The Pulaski County High School Winter Drumline and the Pulaski County High School Winter Guard competed in the TriState Marching Arts Championships held at East Central High School in St. Leon, IN. 

For the fourth consecutive year, our Winter Groups brought home medals from TriState Championships

The Northern Middle School Junior Guard were named the TriState Marching Arts Scholastic Junior Bronze medalists with a score of 72.61 (only missing the Gold medal by .8)

 The Pulaski County High School Winter Drumline were named the TriState Marching Arts Percussion Scholastic A-2 Silver medalists with a score of 80.25.

 The Pulaski County High School Winter Guard finished 4th in Scholastic A-3 with a score of 75.53.

Ready for PROM?
PROM is Saturday, April 19th.

Any student bringing a guest to prom must fill out a guest permission form, which can be picked up when you purchase tickets.

UPDATED PROM DRESS CODE

 “Prom dress code for boys: No denim jeans or baseball style caps will be permitted. Shirts must be long sleeved button up. Pants must cover the boot. Please see Mr. McAninch with any questions about acceptable clothing for prom”.

Pulaski County High School Recognized


Pulaski County High School was recognized in Kentucky Teacher magazine for excellence in preparing students for college and career readiness.

Kentucky Department of Education Commissioner Terry Holliday designated PCHS as a hub school for others to follow the school's success.  “We want to share our journey and the steps taken to meet the vision of Pulaski County school district and KDE to graduate all students college- and career-ready,” said Pulaski County High Principal Mike Murphy.

Monthly Book Drawing Winner!
Congratulations to freshman Miranda Proffitt for being our 1st monthly book drawing winner of the year! Miranda won a copy of the 2013 Guinness Book of World Records. Remember to stop by the library and enter the drawing for next month.
